Doppeltab shows a live, translated copy of the tab you are viewing in Chrome's side panel. The copy is built inside your browser.
When translation runs, the visible text of the page (paragraphs, headings, buttons and similar text) and the page title are sent to the Doppeltab server, which forwards them to an AI translation provider (DeepSeek) and returns the translation. Only text that is about to be shown on screen is sent.
The following is never sent: page addresses (URLs), cookies, text you type into forms or editable areas, passwords, images and videos.
The server stores an anonymous installation ID and the number of characters translated per day. IP addresses are stored only as salted hashes to limit abuse. Page text is not written to disk. Short phrases such as menu labels and headings (up to 300 characters) and their translations may be kept in server memory for up to 7 days so repeated translations are faster; they are not linked to any user.
Your browser stores your settings and a local cache of translations so the same sentence is not translated twice. You can clear the cache in Settings or by removing the extension.
Text to be translated is processed by DeepSeek under its own privacy policy. Doppeltab does not sell data and does not use it for advertising.

Doppeltab은 지금 보고 있는 탭을 크롬 사이드 패널에 실시간으로 복제해 번역해 보여 줍니다. 복제 화면은 브라우저 안에서 만들어집니다.
번역할 때 화면에 보일 페이지 글(본문, 제목, 버튼 글자 등)과 페이지 제목이 Doppeltab 서버로 전송되고, 서버는 이를 AI 번역 서비스(DeepSeek)에 보내 번역 결과를 돌려받습니다. 화면에 보일 부분만 전송됩니다.
페이지 주소(URL), 쿠키, 입력칸이나 편집 영역에 입력한 글, 비밀번호, 이미지와 동영상은 전송되지 않습니다.
서버에는 익명 설치 ID와 하루 번역 글자 수만 저장됩니다. IP 주소는 악용 방지를 위해 복원할 수 없는 해시로만 저장합니다. 페이지 글은 디스크에 저장하지 않습니다. 메뉴나 제목 같은 짧은 문구(300자 이하)와 그 번역은 반복 번역을 빠르게 하기 위해 서버 메모리에 최대 7일 보관될 수 있으며, 어떤 사용자와도 연결되지 않습니다.
브라우저에는 설정과, 같은 문장을 다시 번역하지 않기 위한 번역 캐시가 저장됩니다. 캐시는 설정에서 비우거나 확장을 삭제하면 지워집니다.
번역할 글은 DeepSeek에서 처리되며 DeepSeek의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다. Doppeltab은 데이터를 판매하거나 광고에 사용하지 않습니다.
